Job description

Production Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Production Specialist to collaborate with design engineers and customers, ensuring that customer requirements align with system designs. You will play a crucial role in analyzing design requirements, recommending methods, and approving project designs for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design engineers and customers to understand and analyze customer requirements.
  • Recommend design methods to engineers to ensure alignment with production guidelines.
  • Suggest hardware and software components to support recommended systems.
  • Approve project designs for compliance with manufacturing processes.
  • Assist in determining preliminary design and material costs for quotations.
  • Ensure schematics and models are complete and accurate before release to the shop.
  • Manage the Aluminum Manufacturing Department, ensuring projects meet time, quality, and cost constraints.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure parts availability during project execution.
  • Work with design engineers, salesmen, and customers to meet project expectations.
  • Develop, debug, and start up PLC code and Man-Machine Interfaces as needed.

  • Proficiency in quality checks and leadership.
  • Ability to apply continuous improvement and operational strategies.
  • Strong customer relations skills.

  • Ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, management, and staff.

    This position operates on the first shift. Our company offers an ESOP structure, providing great tenure and opportunities for upward mobility and growth.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00 / yr. ESOP, 401K, will attach benefits.

    Workplace Type

    This is a fully onsite position in Saint Louis, MO.
