CNC Programmer – $80,000

Our client, a global leader in the Fishing Tackle Manufacturing Industry is seeking a motivated and skilled CNC Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for operating both manual and CNC machinery to manufacture high-precision metal and plastic components and tooling. The ideal candidate should be experienced with both manual and CNC machining, proficient in G-Code, and exude passion and attention to details. What will you be doing?

Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to machine custom and production components, including tools and fixtures.

Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances; perform layout and measurement of workpieces.

Program, set up, and operate both manual and CNC machines for prototype and production runs.

Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and production staff.

Inspect completed parts using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs.

Adjust tooling and machine settings.

Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical or operational issues with machines.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety standards.

Document machining procedures, inspection results, and production metrics.

What do you bring?

Positive, can-do attitude

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Completion of a technical program or apprenticeship in CNC machining preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in both manual and CNC machining environments.

Strong knowledge of machining practices, cutting tools, and working with various metals and plastics.

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Proficient in CNC programming and knowledgeable in G-code.

Experience with CAD / CAM software systems.

High attention to detail with a commitment to producing precise, high-quality work.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
