Overview :
The Technical Analyst Intake Coordinator is pivotal in facilitating an agile, collaborative approach across Global Information Technology and Shared Services projects.
This role acts not just as a liaison but as a strategic partner to both technology and business verticals, ensuring that projects align closely with dynamic business needs and value delivery.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement :
- Actively engage with business owners and non-IT stakeholders to deeply understand their objectives, processes, and challenges.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment, gather feedback, and refine project goals in accordance with business needs and technological capabilities.
- Maintain transparent communication channels between all parties, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project.
Project Facilitation :
- Champion agile methodologies and principles within project intakes, promoting iterative development and continuous improvement.
- Serve as the agile facilitator for all incoming projects, working closely with cross-functional teams including Applications Development, Information Security, Networking, and Database Support.
- Foster an environment of open communication and rapid response to change, ensuring that project scopes and goals are revisited and adjusted as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
Reporting and Metrics :
- Develop and implement effective metrics and reporting systems to track project progress, outcomes, and the value delivered to the business.
- Use insights from data to guide decision-making processes and project adjustments, promoting a culture of accountability and results-driven performance.
Duties :
- Represent Global Information Technology and Shared Services as a technical liaison, collect business needs and requirements, gather technical requirements, assess resource capacity, provide planning.
- Support complex projects and / or multiple smaller projects as an intake coordinator.
- Facilitate requirements sessions, including spearheading discussions, working with Global Information Technology and Shared Services managers and architects, to addressing scope, technical requirements as well as goals and objectives.
- Provide metrics and communication memos on behalf of Global Information Technology and Shared Services; attend business requirements meetings;
report on the details to incoming projects with the appropriate areas within the Global Information Technology and Shared Services team.
Provide clarification and understanding to technical requirements for other project team stakeholders to assist in the creation of specific project deliverables.
Education Required :
BA in Technology, Information Systems and / or Computer Science or equivalent education and / or experience may be considered.
Experience Required :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Technical Analyst experience.
- Prior technical project coordinator experience.
- Experience working with networking, externally facing applications, and infrastructure.
Experience Preferred : Minimum of 3 years of Analyst experience working in traditional IT environment and cloud environments.
Skills Required :
- Exceptional communications skills, written, verbal and listening. This role is to represent the Global Information Technology and Shared Services team for all projects that require their services.
- Exceptional understanding of business scope, business requirements and to convert such business requirements into technical requirements.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and best practices.
- Strong understanding of resource capacity planning; allocating hours to projects, providing timelines, prioritizing projects, and working well on cross-functional project teams as a liaison to Global Information Technology and Shared Services.
- Demonstrated ability to create visual metrics and flowcharts.
- Ability to facilitate technical sessions with key project stakeholders.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to lead successfully lead and motivate a team.
- Ability to build from good relationships with technology and business stakeholders.
- Ability to gather all pertinent information and to request for additional when necessary.
- Solid knowledge of networking and infrastructure concepts and fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of Information Security, Applications Development and AWS Cloud
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Location
- Candidates local to MillerKnoll in West Michigan or Chicago will be given preference.
- West Michigan candidates- role is a hybrid of 2 days in the office, 3 days WFH.
- Chicago candidates 100% Remote. Occasional onsite to Fulton Market and West Michigan when needed.

A starting compensation range for this role is $68,550.00 - $85,725.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business / organizational needs and market factors .
You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
