The Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day general ledger accounting for multiple venues including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Provides financial support for event booking decisions
• Provides support with the preparation and review of month-end accounting close process
• Generates departmental and event income / expense reports
• Analyzes event-level profitability, including ticket sales, concessions, staffing and other revenue / expense streams
• Supports financial audit and internal control procedures
• Assists in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports, prepares variance analysis
• Develops dashboards and performance reports for senior management
• Assists with event settlements
• Files monthly sales tax
• Other duties as assigned
