Job Description

This entry-level position offers a great opportunity for individuals looking to begin their career in Policy Accounting. It's designed for candidates who may not yet meet the education or experience requirements for a Level 2 role but are eager to learn and grow. In this role, you'll be responsible for accurately applying incoming payments, managing customer inquiries—primarily through written communication— and supporting other tasks and duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately execute on-demand premium drafting in compliance with departmental guidelines, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for policyholders
• Apply and refund premiums for life and annuity products in accordance with established procedures and service standards
• Perform basic accounting transactions between company accounts and resolve routine suspense out-of-balance situations
• Respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers, with a strong focus on written communication including email, letters, and system-based correspondence
• Contribute to a variety of departmental tasks, supporting team priorities and adapting to evolving business needs

Experience And Qualifications

Education

Four-year college education or equivalent work experience
