This position is for a full-time Assistant Resident Manager II to work at Town Park Towers, a 216-unit affordable senior housing community in San Jose, CA. This is a HUD and Tax credit property. Qualified candidates will have 1 + years of management experience at a HUD and / or Tax-Credit property. Must have a thorough understanding of HUD and Tax Credit compliance. Salary range : $68,640 - $91,520 annually; hiring range for new employees is generally $68,640 - $74,360 annually, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role.

The Assistant Resident Manager assists the Resident Manager in the operation of the complex in accordance with EAH Administrative guidelines to ensure effective fiscal, physical and social soundness. Takes initiative to seek solutions to problems unique to the complex and assist with employee supervision in a manner requiring minimum supervision from the Resident Manager. Understands and supports EAH's mission and core values.

Responsibilities :

• Assists with Collecting Rent, Bank Deposits, Preparing and Submitting Rent Roll and Income Verification
• Monitors Work Orders and Walks the grounds Daily
• Answers Telephone, Files, Prepares Correspondence
• Assist Residents with Questions or Problems
• Assists with Evictions, Annual Inspections and Repairs
• Assist with Re-certifications; Resident Notification, Setting up Appointments, Tracking
• Supervises three or more employees

Criminal Background Check Requirements :

EAH Housing conducts criminal background checks on all candidates who have received a conditional job offer. Once you have receive such an offer, you will be required to submit and pass our criminal background requirements. If onsite housing is a requirement of the position, any household members over 18 years of age who will be living onsite with the candidate must also undergo a criminal background check and tenant screening. Satisfactory completion of background check and fingerprinting requirements is a requirement of employment with EAH.
