Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general appearance and maintenance of the physical property and for ensuring the efficient operation of the property on a daily basis. Due to the nature of the property management industry, this position must be available to work on the last day and first day of each month which can occur on weekends.

• Preventive and responsive maintenance of multifamily apartment buildings, including occupied apartment units.
• Repairs in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, appliances, and drywall.
• Participation in cleaning and painting during unit turns.
• Adjusting cabinet and swing doors.
• Regular, professional, and courteous communications with Property Managers, Office Staff and Residents.
• On-call rotation; responds to emergency calls after hours and on weekends
• Caretaking of grounds, including snow removal
• Other duties as assigned.

$25-$30 per hour, DOQ
