Pay is $50k-80k annually with salary and bonuses.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to join our team in Cambridge, United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations at 1595 2nd Ave Ne, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient operations, and strong team performance.
- Lead and manage all store operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and quality control
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of store team members
- Manage inventory levels, place orders, and control costs to maximize profitability
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed business decisions
- Resolve customer complaints and maintain high standards of customer service
- Coordinate with other departments and vendors to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for all team members and customers
- Prepare and submit regular reports on store performance and key metrics
Qualifications
Proven experience in a management role, preferably in the food service or retail industryStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team membersExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficient in math and financial management, including the ability to analyze sales data and manage budgetsComputer literacy, including proficiency in point-of-sale systems and basic office softwareStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyPhysical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and move around the store frequentlyFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededKnowledge of food safety regulations and best practicesFamiliarity with inventory management and cost control techniquesAbility to read maps and coordinate deliveries within the local area (if applicable)Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional serviceAdaptability to work in various temperatures and conditions within the store environment
