Location : Maple Grove, MN | Duration : Long Term | Work Model : Onsite (4 days / week)

Role Summary

Seeking a dedicated Vision Systems Engineer to design, develop, and deploy Machine Vision solutions, primarily for inspection and quality control within the medical device field. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Candidate Requirements

• Education & Experience : Bachelor's / Associate Degree with 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying Machine Vision applications.
• Core Technical Expertise :
• Vision Hardware / Software : Proven experience with Cognex InSight and Designer , as well as Keyence systems.
• Optics : Expertise in camera selection (line scan, area scan) and lens selection (Telecentric, Depth of Field, FOV).
• Software Development : Experience developing software for image processing.
• Key Responsibilities : Develop Proofs of Concept (PoC) , contribute to technical documents (requirements, design I / O), participate in design reviews, and support root cause analysis of product defects.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with .Net (WinForms, WPF), HMIs, PLCs , and familiarity with Vision Pro . Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
