Operations Supervisor

The Securitas Technology Operations Supervisor plans work and supervises a team of prefabrication technicians within a light manufacturing environment. The prefabrication team assembles electrical and electronic components and materials into prefabricated assemblies for ease of installation by technicians in client facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide supervision, motivation, and training to electronic prefabrication technicians in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Develop operations plans and resource planning to optimize work and meet production deadlines.
• Maintain tool and inventory levels by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing orders for supplies.
• Implement departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers on project deliverables.
• Evaluate performance of assigned employees, delivering appropriate and timely feedback.
• Evaluate and report on department metrics.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the work environment and operations.
• Maintain storage and organization of raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse.

Required Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED

Desired Qualifications

• A bachelor’s or associate degree in operations management, business management, or engineering technology
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or electronics assembly environment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Experience wiring and troubleshooting industrial controls and PLC equipment.
• Good working knowledge of operational procedures and policies.
• Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
