Description :

This position is for an inpatient substance abuse treatment facility for adults aged 18 and older.

The nurse will need to have experience with CIWA / COWS assessments as well as performing urinalysis.

Setting and maintaining firm empathic boundaries with patients is crucial.

The nurse-to-patient ratio during night shifts is one nurse to the total patient count.

From 7 PM to 11 PM, there are 2-3 Behavioral Health Assistants on shift.

From 11 PM to 7 AM, there is one Behavioral Health Assistant on shift.

The facility has a total of 50 beds available, with 20 designated for female patients and 30 for male patients.

The facility operates with voluntary patients and does not utilize restraints.

Administration and a physician will be on-call at all times.

Visiting hours are scheduled on Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM.

Nurses are expected to wear scrubs.
