Program Manager I
Eaton's Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Program Manager I to join our team. This position is Hybrid and based at our Jackson, Michigan facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.
Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What You'll Do :
The Program Manager I is responsible for the successful execution of NPI / STP Program(s) and / or critical business / problem resolution projects and their budget allocation. Lead the Integrated Product Team(s) to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and life of the program financial performance by managing customer programs, contracts, and business relationships.
Manage the Profit and Loss of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Standard Transition Projects (STP), and New Product Development NPD Program(s).
Execute Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership across the Program. Seek team input to promote rapid resolution to issues. Coach and provide feedback on performance indicators.
Establish objectives and goals and provide direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer concerns, potential changes in scope and risk assessment. Facilitate the implementation of program management processes at the site, business unit or Division.
Manage effective customer communications and improve organization responsiveness to customer requirements.
Ensure standard program management processes are utilized and adequate support to the program and project teams by coordinating Program Management reviews, preparing & publishing metrics, and reports.
Maintain performance metrics for program for earned value, quality, technical performance, and delivery through all the Eaton phase gates (PROLaunch) NPI / STP.
Lead IPT teams to define project risks and proactively identify risk mitigation actions. Coordinate all risks and requirements of the program into a completely integrated entity.
Manage customer contract, pricing, terms, and conditions and contractual flow-down through the organization. Establish and negotiate pricing strategies by system and / or product, market and by customer. Develop contract negotiation strategies.
Provide monthly program updates of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem / high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule).
Support the development of new business proposals and executing the overall program plan.

Proven Leadership skills demonstrated capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and customers globally.
Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written with ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and customer
Experience in Risk Management
Strong analytical skills and business acumen
Financial experience, managing Profit & Loss, ATD, EAC, Gross Margin, NPV & IRR
Broad knowledge of Aerospace or other manufacturing industries
