Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Montana Group Home
Position Summary :
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) provides direct, one-on-one behavioral support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT implements individualized behavior intervention plans, collects data, and promotes skill development to enhance residents independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the BCBA to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Provide direct support and supervision to residents in the group home and community settings.
- Accurately collect and record data on resident behaviors and progress.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans.
- Encourage and support the development of communication, self-help, and adaptive skills.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing supervision.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may prefer additional education).Current RBT certification from the BACB (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.Strong communication, teamwork, and data collection skills.Ability to pass background checks and meet all state and agency requirements.Compensation & Benefits :
