The Sales Representative should do their part to maintain a positive and respectful relationship with all employees, customers, and external contacts.
Daily Tasks :
The Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for meeting with existing and potential clients. This position is ideal for someone with a strong sales background and industry experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or outdoor services. As a Landscape Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales, building relationships with clients, and guiding them through the sales process from initial consultation to project completion.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary : Competitive annual salary (dependent on experience).
- Commission :
- 3% Immediate Commission : Paid on all paid invoices, regardless of project profitability.
- 3% Escrowed Commission : Paid quarterly, contingent upon project completion and a minimum 40% gross margin.

Sales & Client Engagement
Act as the primary point of contact for potential clients, guiding them through the sales process with professionalism and expertise.Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.Conduct site assessments and provide clients with clear, accurate estimates for landscaping and hardscaping projects.Present and sell a variety of landscape and hardscape solutions, including maintenance services, design installations, and enhancements.Work closely with the design team to ensure the scope of work aligns with client expectations and is accurately communicated.Track all sales activities, interactions, and client follow-ups using LMN (Landscape Management Network) or similar CRM systems.Maintain a strong understanding of the latest industry trends, services, and pricing to offer competitive solutions to clients.Ensure projects are sold at a minimum 25% net profit margin based on the current budget in LMN.Generate new leads through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.Collaboration & Execution
Collaborate with the project management team to ensure the smooth transition from sales to project execution.Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.Qualifications
Experience : 3+ years of sales experience in the landscaping, hardscaping, or outdoor services industry (required).Strong understanding of landscaping and hardscaping products, services, and construction practices.Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Ability to assess project scopes and generate accurate estimates.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client accounts.Experience with CRM software or sales management tools (LMN experience a plus).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Join Our Team!
