• Active Texas RN license or Compact State Licensure\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience\n
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills\n
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities\n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n
• Deliver direct, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to a diverse ICU patient population\n
• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and assist with exams and treatments in the intensive care unit\n
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery expectations\n
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records\n
• Collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n
• Administer medications, perform clinical procedures, and manage emergencies as needed\n
• Advocate for patients and families, ensuring patient rights and safety are respected\n
