Blazer Jobs is actively seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time, school-based position in Beaufort, South Carolina for the 20252026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or early-career therapist who is passionate about helping students develop essential skills that promote independence and success in the classroom.

About the Role

The Occupational Therapist will support students with a variety of needs, providing individualized interventions and collaborating closely with educators and families to enhance participation in daily academic routines. You will work in a supportive school environment focused on teamwork, student growth, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success

Document progress, maintain compliance records, and participate in IEP meetings

Provide staff training on sensory, motor, and functional classroom strategies

Qualifications

Active South Carolina Occupational Therapy License (required)

Previous school-based or pediatric therapy experience preferred

Understanding of IDEA regulations and IEP implementation

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

This full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $38$45 , based on experience and qualifications.
