Responsibilities

Behavioral Health Therapist

Broward House, Inc. is a not-for-profit community-based organization serving Broward County with a focus on HIV care and Prevention, housing, and behavioral health. In addition to other responsibilities, this position will have the opportunity to :

• Engage clients and support them in identifying their strengths and challenges
• Work alongside the client to build a plan of action and goals addressing addiction and health
• Develop creative interventions to support plans of action goals.
• Recognize the hierarchy of needs and link clients with services to support overall care
• Facilitate engaging, interactive groups addressing all life areas including physical, emotional, mental, spiritual
• Work with an integrated care team to see all perspectives to meet the client's needs
• Productively challenge, provide support and guide clients in an individual sessions to meet identified goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
