Program Manager
QCT Program Management is searching for a Program Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing clear and stable plans of record and roadmaps for development projects. They will also plan and align all RF components from transceiver-to-antenna across MDM / MSM chipsets. The role involves driving and maintaining schedules and plans for execution of development plans of record for a fast paced innovative environment. The Program Manager will drive feature requests spanning RF, modem, firmware, modem systems, test mobiles and various other teams. They will ensure that all the RF products come together from a HW / SW perspective and align with MDM / MSM commercial release schedules. The Program Manager will own all RF program management activities for a given transceiver system including planning, tracking, execution, database updates and risk management. They will work with key teams inside the RF organization and put end-to-end plans for all HW / SW features. The Program Manager will manage modem, bring up and systems performance optimizations activities. They will multi-task with and understand, guide, and facilitate a variety of disciplines, such as ASIC hardware design, test, product support, marketing, finance, and other business functions. The Program Manager will demonstrate executive and customer level presentation skills with excellent written and verbal communications, interpersonal skills, and the ability to mentor, motivate, and lead project teams. They will develop and maintain resource plans and identify resource gaps and make plans for mitigating them to achieve QCT division business objectives. The Program Manager will manage modem releases / programs and bring consistency across portfolio. They will manage risks, develop mitigation strategies and communicate impacts. The Program Manager will identify organizational and process weaknesses and develop and champion plans for improvements. This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA and is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Program Management or related work experience. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of Program Management or related work experience, firmware development or firmware program management experience, 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization, 1+ year of experience with program management tools such as dashboards, Gantt charts, etc., 1+ year of working with operating budgets, resources, and / or project financials, Project Management Professional (PMP) / Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification, and demonstrated proficiency with project planning tools and current methodologies.

Pay range and other compensation and benefits : $126,400.00 - $189,600.00
