Responsibilities Work in an academic Level 1 Trauma Center with 1 primary IR room and the possibility of floating to 2 additional rooms Average of 5 IR cases per day including stroke, oncology, vascular, and complex body interventions Procedures include angiography, aneurysm repair, peripheral vascular interventions, bypasses, and endarterectomies Uses Siemens Hybrid Artis Pheno, Siemens ARTIS Q, and GE Ultrasound technology Epic Encompass EMR is utilized Schedule consists of 8-hour day shifts or 10-hour shifts based on department needs Call required 2 days per week starting after hours and every fourth weekend; schedule subject to discussion Travelers may float to other IR rooms per department needs Responsibilities include angiography, assisting in procedures, equipment operation, and supply management 2 technologists per room with support from tech extenders and multidisciplinary physician teams Up to 2 weeks orientation provided based on experience and comfort level Weekend call rotation and holiday work may be required if scheduled Department culture is fast-paced and team-oriented First-time travelers with strong IR experience will be considered Hospital-provided scrubs; free employee parking Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience as an IR Technologist post-graduation or on the job BLS required ARRT(R) certification required; VI or CV preferred, RCIS with vascular rotations is acceptable High proficiency in operating Siemens Hybrid Artis Pheno Fluoroscopy unit with no additional training Experience in IR / vascular, including scrubbing, assisting in procedures, circulating, and troubleshooting equipment License required if applicable (primary source license verification may be requested) Must be willing and able to work in the OR as needed Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-612244.
