Job description

Multiple shifts available :

12 hour shifts (6a-6p) or (6p-6a)

F Shift = 6p-6a Sun, Mon, Tues, and every other Saturday (15% shift differential)
G Shift = 6a-6p Thurs, Fri, Sat, and every other Wednesday (no shift differential)
H Shift = 6p-6a Wed, Thurs, Fri, every other Saturday (20% shift differential)

Hire Type : Direct hire

Relocation available : $5,000

Retention bonus available : $3,000

Work week : 45 hours / week

General Purpose :

Mechanical : Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as conveyor systems and production machines and equipment. Electrical : Maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment to ensure it is operational.

Principle Accountabilities :

Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.

Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.

Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.

Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.

Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.

Records times and problems in equipment logs.

Provides daily equipment functioning activity information.

Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.

Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.

Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair, and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment.

Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.

Requirements :

Associate’s Degree in a related field, military technical training, or equivalent education and training.

2+ years of related experience and / or trade knowledge.

Ability to read and comprehend schematics, and maintenance manuals.
