As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance within their homes. You will provide compassionate care and support to clients, ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence while receiving the necessary help with daily activities. Your expertise in patient observation, medical terminology, and caregiving will be essential in delivering exceptional home health services.

What you’ll do

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication administration as per prescribed schedules and assist with catheter care when needed.
• Support clients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfers.
• Engage in memory care and dementia care activities to promote cognitive function and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that address individual needs.
