MANAGER-AMBULATORY SURGERY SVCS
The Manager of Ambulatory Surgery Services provides operational leadership for all outpatient procedural areas. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, efficient case flow, and high-quality patient care in the ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee daily operations of all ASC procedural areas, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and procedural teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements specific to ASC operations.
- Monitor departmental performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement operational enhancements.
- Support staff development, training, and professional growth within ambulatory services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and operational planning for the ASC.
EXPERIENCE :
Minimum of 5 years peri-procedural or perioperative nursing experience or a combination of critical care experience, with at least 2 years in a progressive leadership role.EDUCATION :
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS :
Current RN license in New York State.OTHER :
