• Multiple shifts available with in-time varying from 3 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 PM
• Full-time position with immediate start available
• Weekend requirement of 6 weekend days worked per 6 weeks
• 2 on-call shifts required per 6 weeks for emergencies or extra shifts as needed
• Floating may be requested but unlikely due to census
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1 : 4-5
• Care for diverse patient types including clinic patients to strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy complications, pediatrics, behavioral health, and all emergency department conditions
• Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers
• Required certifications : Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact required
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
• Must attend New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days of hire
