Elizabeth is a new French restaurant and wine bar located on iconic Wharf Street in downtown Portland, Maine, slated to open in March 2026. It is an intimate, sexy and cozy space where people luxuriate in forward thinking, innovative French classics accented by low intervention French wines and reinvented French cocktails. Duncan Biddulph, former executive chef of Lula Cafe, Publican, and Rootstock (Chicago) and Ashley Robinson, former head baker of The Bakery at Fat Rice (also Chicago), have been hired to helm the food program.
