Brooking Park is a not-for-profit, faith-based life plan community offering a full spectrum of health-related senior services. Our services include short-term stays for rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, and long-term skilled nursing for people with Alzheimer’s. Accommodations and services are designed for seniors of varied levels of care and independence. Brooking Park does not provide independent living, but these services are offered at our adjoining long-term care community, The Willows at Brooking Park.

Role Description

This is a full-time and part-time on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse located in Chesterfied, MO. The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, monitoring patient’s health, and communicating with other healthcare professionals. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing emotional support to residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification
• Experience in administering medications and providing direct patient care
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and monitor patient health
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in working with seniors, especially those with Alzheimer’s or other memory-care needs
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently
• Compassionate nature and strong interpersonal skills
• A background in healthcare or nursing is preferred
