DESCRIPTION

Decypher is seeking a Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) to support the contract in San Diego, CA.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Certificate or degree from a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification in Mammography required.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a radiologic technologist within the last two years (preferred).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine diagnostic radiology procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety policies and procedures.
• Correctly position patients and make necessary technical adjustments.
• Process digital images and submit them for radiologist interpretation.
• Maintain records and document procedures per facility policies.
• Perform system calibrations and quality control tasks.
• Recognize and report equipment malfunctions, initiating repair procedures.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast media and respond to emergencies.

COMPENSATION: $57.43/hour (in accordance with federal/state regulations).
