• Capability to handle all patient types presenting to ED JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses : Active Texas license required
• Board : ABEM preferred; AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM with strong ED experience accepted; ABPS not accepted
• DEA : Active DEA required
• Certifications : EM BC requires proof of ATLS once; FM / IM trained requires ATLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience : Strong emergency medicine experience required
• Other Qualifications : Epic proficiency preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide emergency medical care in a high-volume ED setting
• Manage approximately 60 patient encounters per day
• Coordinate transfers for all admissions to main Christus Mother Frances campus
• Perform required emergency medicine procedures
