Job Title : Legal Associate IPM
We are seeking a Legal Associate with foundational experience in intellectual property
law and a keen interest in ANDA litigation. This role is ideal for an entry-level attorney eager
to develop their expertise in IP law, working alongside experienced professionals in a
collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed analysis of patents, file histories, technical documentation, and expert opinions.
- Draft and review freedom-to-operate and invalidation opinions.
- Prepare and draft notice letters and detailed statements.
- Contribute to IP due diligence processes, including preparation for settlements, licensing agreements, depositions, and trial preparation.
- Support business development and research initiatives by providing IP assessments.
- Collaborate effectively within the team while also handling tasks independently as required.
Qualifications :
Educational Background :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree (US).Bachelors, Masters, or Ph.D. in Pharmaceuticals or Chemistry preferred.Experience :
2 to 8 years of experience in ANDA litigation, with a basic understanding of FDA regulatory law.Experience in IP due diligence, settlement and licensing agreements, deposition, and trial preparation is a plus.Skills and Competencies :
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex patent and technical documents.Proficient in drafting legal documents with accuracy and clarity.Excellent verbal communication skills.Ability to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.Note :
