Supervisor Customer Billing
The Supervisor of Customer Billing oversees their designated classified and contractor workforce and promotes the highest level of customer service and customer satisfaction by assuring the timely and accurate creation of bills. The Customer Billing team is responsible for the accurate billing of customers. Through the Customer Information System (CIS), Customer Billing also tracks the transactions of meters. Team members work closely with many areas of the company including Customer Service, Cost & Rate, and Information Technology.
What does a Supervisor Customer Billing do?
- Plans, schedules, coordinates, supervises, and directs activities, safety, and functions of employees in the customer billing group
- Collaborates with and develops good working relationships with internal stakeholder departments to maintain high levels of customer service and billing accuracy
- Oversees billing exceptions created and allocates exceptions to classified workforce to be remedied
- Allocates defect testing to classified workforce
- Responsible for receiving and allocating customer complaints to be investigated and responded to in a timely manner
- Assures the correct completion of all required reports to State and Federal authorities.
- Assists with the ongoing operation of the retail access program, including both customer and marketer aspects
- Monitors and controls budget allowances for payroll, materials and supplies and purchases.
- Provides support for storm restoration efforts
What does it take to be a Supervisor Customer Billing?
Required :
Bachelors degree in business administration, finance or related field and professional work experience in billing, customer service, or business project management. In lieu of a bachelors degree, an associate's degree in business administration, finance or related field and 3 years of work experience in billing, customer service, or business project managementProficiency and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new computer software programs quicklyStrong analytical skills, including ability to proficiently perform data analysis to assess issues and drive business resolutionsMust demonstrate a high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn, promote a strong work ethic, and be committed to a positive customer service approachAbility to work in a deadline-oriented, fast paced environmentStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitaskExcellent written and verbal communication skills to satisfy customer inquiries, concerns, and requestsStrong documentation skillsMust be willing to respond to requests to work outside of normal work hoursValid driver's licensePreferred :

Pay Range : $99,500.00 - $149,200.00
