Cardiac Surgeon / Heart Transplant

Milwaukee, WI

Position Highlights :

  • Wisconsin's highest-volume heart transplant program with a nationally recognized academic medical center, supported by a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and APPs.

    • Qualifications :

  • Degree : MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Certifications : Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery

    • UNOS certification in heart transplantation

  • Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Wisconsin and a valid DEA number.
  • Expertise in cardiac transplantation, mechanical circulatory support (VAD), and advanced cardiac surgical techniques .
  • 5-7 years of post-fellowship practice experience preferred; academic rank commensurate with experience.
