About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical Tech

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : 5 years current CST experience required

License : NBSTSA required, NCCT not accepted

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

• 5 years current CST experience in General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (including total joints), Neuro / Head / Spine, and Trauma
• Proficiency in precepting
• Must have own vehicle
• 2 recent supervisory signed references required, non-negotiable
• Must be willing to work holidays and weekends as specified

Agency employer must call and verify all references in profile.

Candidate must be able to precept; proficiency must be noted in profile.

Shift accommodation requests will not be considered for this need.

Travelers who reside within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.

Travelers must be willing to take call.

Candidates must be proficient in the following procedures / specialties : General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (including total joints), Neuro head and spine, and Trauma.

C-sections, ENT, Plastics, and DaVinci Robot experience is preferred.

Travelers are required to work two of the following holidays : Thanksgiving and the weekend after; Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and the weekend after; New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day and the weekend after.

Extensions requested to end in November or before the holiday starts in December will not be considered for an extension at the beginning of the next year.

Unit size is 8 beds.

Facility-provided scrubs will be worn.

The traveler candidate must have their own vehicle, which is a firm requirement.

Any time off requests must be included in the profile.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

The facility will not approve scheduling requests after the time of offer.

Requesting changes after the offer may lead to rescinded offers.
