About The Position

Job Title : Certified Surgical Tech (CST)

Profession : Surgical Tech

Specialty : Operating Room

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : 5 years of current CST experience required, including proficiency in General, Gyn, Vascular, Thoracic, Ortho (including total joints), Neuro (head and spine), and Trauma procedures.

License : NBSTSA required. NCCT not accepted.

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

• 2 recent supervisory signed references required.
• Proficiency to precept is mandatory.
• Traveler must be able to take call.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle.

Description :

This position requires two recent supervisory signed references.

References must be verified by management.

Traveler candidates must have proficiency in required procedures.

Scheduling accommodation requests will not be considered for this need.

Holiday coverage is required, including Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day.

Travelers must work one of the holiday dates.

The facility will not consider any local travelers who reside within 50 miles.

All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.

Profile must include full work history, skills checklist current to one year, and signed references from within two years.

Meditech Expanse experience is strongly preferred.

Traveler must include their permanent address in the profile.

Experience in C-sections, ENT, Plastics, and DaVinci Robot is preferred.

Candidates must be prepared to take call as needed.
