Job descriptionMinimum 3-5 years of bar management experience in upscale dining environments. Extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, and craft cocktail preparation. Proven track record of inventory management and cost control. Strong leadership and team development capabilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Food safety certification and responsible beverage service certification required. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent experience preferred. Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software. Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Oversee all aspects of beverage operations at this prestigious Charlotte location. Lead and develop an experienced team of bartenders and servers. Manage inventory controls and cost management for bar operations. Execute high-volume service while maintaining quality standards for this Bar Manager role. Develop and implement innovative beverage programs and seasonal cocktail menus. Train staff on proper service techniques and hospitality standards. Maintain strategic relationships with distributors and vendors. Manage bar inventory valued at over $100,000 for this Charlotte establishment. Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations as Bar Manager. Conduct comprehensive staff scheduling and performance evaluations.
