Valet Assistant Manager Margaritaville Beach Resort

We're looking for an Assistant Valet Manager to help oversee a high-energy, guest-focused operation. Key Responsibilities include :

Operational Leadership :

Oversee the financial, operational, safety, and service performance of the hotel's valet operation.

Manage, plan, schedule, and direct the daily activities of ramp supervisors, valet attendants, cashiers, and overnight staff.

Ensure smooth 24 / 7 operations, with availability on weekends to support peak times and special events.

Implement client service standards and maintain alignment with property expectations for safety, service, and efficiency.

Guest Service & Client Relations :

Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining a courteous, responsive, and guest-first approach throughout all valet interactions.

Serve as a key point of contact for client communication, feedback, and service alignment.

Lead efforts to deliver elevated guest experiences while maintaining brand standards and exceeding client expectations.

Financial & Administrative Oversight :

Oversee financial management of the valet department, including budgeting, revenue tracking, and cost control.

Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual operational and financial reports as needed.

Review and manage profit / loss statements and budget forecasts for assigned hotel(s).

Monitor and adjust staffing, scheduling, and operational expenses to meet financial goals.

Ensure payroll is processed accurately and timely manner; collaborate with payroll and HR teams for compliance with wage and hour laws.

Maintain audit compliance and ensure proper financial documentation and reporting protocols are followed.

Safety & Risk Management :

Lead claims management, including safety-related training, incident prevention, and timely investigation and reporting of claims.

Promote a culture of safety through continuous improvement initiatives and adherence to internal safety standards.

Coordinate follow-up with clients and guests related to incidents and service concerns.

Strategic Planning & Market Awareness :

Monitor local market conditions and rate structures to remain competitive and drive revenue opportunities.

Identify trends, implement operational improvements, and support business development efforts through data-driven insights.

What You Will Bring :

  • 1+ year of management or supervisory experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required
  • Effective communication and strong customer service skills

Ability to stand, walk, or run for extended periods or for an entire work shift

Capacity to move, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier items with assistance

Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as up and down stairs and / or a service ramp.

Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the Supervisors
