Security Clearance : None / Not RequiredThis position is for an on-site Manufacturing Electrical Engineer Co-Op who will join the Manufacturing support team at the Collins Aerospace Manchester, Iowa.Manchester is the Center of Excellence in the manufacture of Avionics Commercial and Military Cockpit Displays! In this roll you would see how Engineers are needed in support of the electrical manufacturing and test environment. You will work with Electrical Engineers and Test Technicians to understand product and test systems. See how Engineers are able to solve problems internally or work with outside parties to come to solutions. What You Will Do :

• Working along side Mfg Electrical Engineers, test technicians, production floor operators and manufacturing support staff, to resolve test, product flow, quality, ergonomic, and safety issues associated with state of the art manufacturing and test techniques.
• Collect, prepare, and assist in analyzing test failures for root cause and aid in corrective actions.
• Aid or lead site support initiatives from a technical perspective.
• Aid in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. What You Will Learn :
• A variety of manufacturing techniques used to build and create advanced electronic equipment
• Test processes and systems associated with moving a product from new design to full rate production.
• Systems in which Aerospace Manufacturing Environments must operate and navigate
• Prioritization and balancing work load of multiple projects

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract Qualifications We Prefer :
• Proficient knowledge using Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
• Proficient knowledge of SolidWorks Modeling
• Experience with VBA or other scripting languages
• Experience with troubleshooting and testing of electronic equipment
