Sourcing Specialist

Strategic Sourcing Specialist Hours, 8 : AM to 5 : 00 onsite Background Check and Drug Test are required. Job Summary The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to support the organization’s purchasing function. This role ensures that supplier partnerships deliver cost savings, quality, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities Develops, implements, and manages sourcing strategies to optimize supplier performance and deliver competitive advantage. Leads the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, evaluating suppliers against cost, quality, inventory, and supply chain requirements. Monitors supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and organizational expectations. Identifies opportunities to consolidate purchasing activities across the organization and negotiates bulk pricing to achieve cost savings. Ensures purchasing practices align with applicable regulations, policies, and industry standards. May specialize in specific purchasing areas, such as commodities or raw materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 3–5 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience.
