Job Summary and Qualifications

In this role, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating closely with medical providers, you will provide vital pre-operative and post-operative nursing support, advocating for your patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Assessing patient conditions during admission and throughout shifts, identifying and reporting changes in patient status.
• Executing procedures and functions as ordered by medical providers.
• Documenting care provided in the patient medical record promptly and thoroughly.
• Administering prescribed medications while monitoring responses.
• Maintaining knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in caring for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

Qualifications:

• Active Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure (active FL license within 60 days of hire if holding a compact license).
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN is preferred.
• Prior experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
• Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Exceptional critical thinking, service excellence, interpersonal communication skills, and proficiency with PC operations.
