We are looking for a Field Technician, Entry Level

to perform a variety of tasks associated with industrial cleaning, railroad, and agricultural operations. In this highly safety-sensitive role, you will learn to operate a wide variety of equipment in extremely varied environments at our many customer locations. As we often work mill shutdowns and provide incident response, this position requires working various shifts, weekends, and overtime with some holiday and on-call work and often requires long hours and travel. Travel expenses, such as hotel and a daily per-diem, are employer paid.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to the following :

• Perform tasks following all safety protocols, rules and regulations as defined by local, state, federal, company and customer specific guidelines to support JEI "Target Zero" safety goal
• Complete all training and certifications as assigned and maintain current certifications as needed
• Operate a variety of equipment, including vacuum excavation, hydro-blasters, pressure washers, forklift, etc.
• Utilize personal protective equipment that can include : disposable or reusable coveralls, raingear, gloves, hardhats, safety glasses or goggles, chemical-resistant clothing, face shields, hearing protection, and respirators (half and full-face).
• Maintain clean work areas, including vehicles
• Drive company equipment to customer locations
• Complete daily time sheets and job cards accurately and timely with documentation of hours worked, job coding, equipment used, and meal and rest periods, etc.
• Perform safe equipment checks, preventative maintenance, and trouble-shoot and assist with repair when requested
• Follow procedures for each job and each piece of equipment
• Other duties as assigned
