WILO NJ is seeking a compassionate and skilled Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will develop and implement individualized behavior plans, conduct assessments, and train staff to support Residents with behavioral needs. This role promotes empowerment, choice, and community integration through a collaborative, team based approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior treatment plans, guidelines, and strategies using clinical expertise and sound judgment.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including verbal behavior, language, play, and skill-based evaluations (e.g., the Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills [ABLLS]).
- Provide hands on training and ongoing support to staff in behavior intervention techniques, ensuring competency through structured evaluations and adherence to ABA best practices.
- Offer behavioral support and guidance to Residents and families to help achieve personal and family centered goals.
- Implement individualized 1 : 1 behavioral intervention programs tailored to Residents’ unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with residential teams to ensure consistent, high quality care and promote community integration.
- Participate in team meetings, staff training, and competency evaluations for behavior technicians.
- Maintain accurate data collection, reporting, and progress monitoring for assigned Residents.
- Communicate effectively with supervisory staff and assist with scheduling and program updates.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
- Build respectful relationships with Residents, families, and staff while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in Positive Behavior Support and / or Applied Behavior AnalysisMinimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilitiesBoard Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification requiredMaster’s degree in a social services related fieldRequirements :
