High school diploma or equivalent Work closely alongside Woodmans perishable department managers to build relationships and look for growth opportunities. Schedule routine store visits to ensure proper store call frequency and representation. Build positive relationships with store department managers to help promote Certco programs and initiatives. Work with distribution void and new item reports to ensure full placement of Woodmans approved items at all stores. Assist store with product conversions Attend and help lead perishable resets as assigned to by the Perishable Team Supervisor Work independently but have communication about product opportunities with other team members Able to lift up to 50lbs. Must have a valid drivers license Must be insurable for auto insurance coverage Is regular in attendance and complies with the Company Attendance Policy Perform other related duties as assigned by management Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong knowledge of grocery retail store practices, and wholesales principles Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner Ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports Customarily and regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment High school graduate or equivalent and excellent math skills 2-3 years supermarket merchandising experience An understanding of food regulations, safety standards, and compliance Other

Are you passionate about grocery retail and building strong customer relationships? Certco, Inc. recognized as a Top Workplace in Wisconsin is looking for a Perishable Sales Specialist to join our team and represent us in Woodmans stores across Madison / Central Wisconsin.

What Youll Do
- Be the go-to resource in Woodmans perishable departments across your territory
- Build and strengthen relationships with department managers to grow sales opportunities
- Ensure full placement of approved items and assist with product conversions
- Attend and help lead perishable resets alongside Woodmans and Certco teams
- Use reports, KPIs, and store visits to identify opportunities and keep shelves stocked
- Work independently while collaborating closely with your team

Requirements : Position Summary
Work in the perishable departments of an assigned territory of Woodmans stores to grow customer relations, improve base distribution, and ensure new item placement. Identify customer needs, preserve existing business, and look to develop new opportunities. Represent Certco at all corporate resets working closely alongside Woodmans store and category management. The ideal candidate will be based out of the Madison / Central Wisconsin Area.
