Location : Sylvania, OH

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day shift, 5x8-hour (08 : 00–16 : 30)

Job Responsibilities :

Calculate radiation doses and design treatment plans for radiation therapy patients.

Perform dose-volume histogram (DVH) analysis and evaluate treatment plans against clinical protocols.

Conduct image registration and contouring using CT, MRI, and PET data.

Ensure radiation safety standards and perform QA for IMRT, VMAT, and SBRT plans.

Support pretreatment and treatment planning processes including simulation, localization, and imaging.

Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and radiation therapists in a multidisciplinary care team.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dosimetrist.

Certification : CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist).

Experience with the following :

Pretreatment : 4D CT Simulation, CT Simulation, Custom Molds / Shields, Image Fusion (CT / MRI / PET), MRI, Motion Management Techniques, PET Scan, Tumor Localization.

Treatment Planning Systems : Eclipse (Varian), Pinnacle (Philips), Auxiliary Devices.

Linear Accelerator Systems : Varian TrueBeam, TrueBeam Edge.

Dosimetry & QA Systems : Electron Beam Therapy, IMRT, MOSFET / OSLD systems, Radioactive Isotopes, Secondary MU calculation software.

Beam Modifying / Positioning : Beam Modifiers, Block Cutting, CBCT / kV / mV Imaging, Wedges.

Specialty Treatments : Benign Brain Tumors, Brachytherapy, Craniospinal, SBRT, SRS, VMAT, Respiratory Gating / Breath-Hold, Weighted / Parallel Fields.

Charting Systems : ARIA, DICOM-RT, PACS.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with Epic charting (varies by unit).

Previous experience in community hospital and multi-site float environments.

Ability to assist with intracavity / interstitial administration.

Additional Details :

Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric groups.

Travelers may float to nearby affiliate hospitals.
