Supervisor, Weigh & Dispense
The Supervisor, Weigh & Dispense is responsible for leading the Weigh & Dispense team and operations within Supply Chain to ensure compliant and reliable production. This position works closely with Raw Material Sampling to flex resources between Weigh & Dispense and Raw Material Sampling, optimizing staffing and productivity. The Weigh & Dispense team consists of multiple shifts in which this supervisor leads and oversees to support the demands of the production schedule, including night shifts, as needed.

What You'll Do
Supervises, leads, and develops direct reports for Weigh & Dispense team while overseeing, organizing, and coordinating daily activities and tasks with Warehouse
Fosters an inclusive, people-first culture by creating meaningful development plans with direct reports and conducting one-on-ones and skip levels on a defined cadence
Collaborates cross functionally (e.g., Manufacturing, Quality, SC Planning, Drug Product, Warehouse)
Oversees and coordinates Weigh & Dispense activities, including :
Manages Weigh & Dispense team training curricula, deviation investigations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
Provides necessary responses to alert or action limits for area equipment and monitoring
Maintains accurate inventory of materials and consumables for Weigh & Dispense
Works closely with Manufacturing Support and Operations for weigh-outs, solution lot records, procedures, and meeting the needs of the production schedule
Competes document review and sign off for Weigh & Dispense
Ensures continuous improvement, drives escalation and mitigates manufacturing issues
Administers company policies that directly impact employees
Completes required administrative tasks (e.g., timecard approvals, time off approvals, expense reports etc.)
Manages and develops direct reports from Weigh & Dispense team
Coaches and guides direct reports to foster professional development
Participates in the recruitment process and retention strategies to attract and retain talent, as needed
Addresses performance gaps, employee questions and concerns, and partners with HR as needed for resolution
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of life sciences, business or related experience; OR
Associate's degree with 4+ years of life sciences, business or related experience; OR
High school diploma with 6+ years of life sciences, business or related experience
Experience in manufacturing environment
Preferred Requirements
Experience in pharmaceutical or biological manufacturing operations
Previous experience leading others in a pharmaceutical or biological manufacturing facility
Experience working in a changing, project driven organization
Experience with regulatory inspections, investigations and change management
Lean certification or related certifications
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Will work in environment operating a motor vehicle or Powered Industrial Truck
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include wrists, hands and / or fingers
Ability to operate machinery and / or power tools
Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to 33 pounds
Ability to bend, push or pull, reach to retrieve materials from 18" to 60" in height, and use twisting motions
Will work in warm / cold environments
Will work in small and / or enclosed spaces
