IT Business Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technology Risk Analyst - Hybrid for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Jacksonville, FL, or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role supports a risk portfolio for designated Technology Executives by partnering with their teams to apply subject matter expertise and foster a culture of risk identification, escalation, and timely mitigation of compliance and operational risks. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who will drive Risk Management activities, collect and analyze data to make informed decisions, and support the full lifecycle of issue management.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Risk Management activities in support of a technology division
• Support a risk portfolio by partnering with teams to identify, escalate, and mitigate compliance and operational risks
• Collect, analyze, and report accurate data to help make informed decisions and solve problems analytically
• Monitor the health of issues through their lifecycle, including action plan development and validation
• Drive collaboration with teammates across organizations such as Technology, Operations, Audit, Compliance & Operational Risk, and Information Security
• Support functions and routines to maintain a robust and sustainable risk culture, including risk reviews, issue management, and technology risk assessments

Requirements:

• 3+ years of internal control, regulatory, audit, risk, compliance or relevant work experience within a financial services or technology organization
• A self-starter, organized, versatile, capable of performing work with minimal management oversight
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
• A problem solver who can manage through ambiguity
• Detail-oriented with an ability to review documentation for accuracy and report on the status of risk reviews
• Proven ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities in a global and fast-paced environment
• Ability to coordinate and drive execution of priorities and meet deadlines
• Intellectually curious and able to research complex issues to drive timely decisions
• Technology Domain Knowledge
• Facilitation and presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office 365 products, experience using Teams is required

Desired skills:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree and/or relevant work experience
• CISSP, CRISC, CISA, CISM certification or similar
• Prior operational risk or compliance experience in the technology arena
• Detailed, financial services-specific risk management and governance experience
• Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners

Pay range: $36.17 - $44.17 per hour
