Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 7 on / 7 off night shift, requiring at least one year of experience and current ARRT certification.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital-based CT scan department
  • 7 on / 7 off night schedule with 10-hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Weekend and on-call coverage is required
  • Floating may be required to facilities within a 60-mile radius according to assignment needs
  • Uses Epic for charting; experience with Epic preferred
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort
  • Follow stringent radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
  • Conduct IV starts and administer contrast as needed
  • Serve as a clinical resource and participate in training for students or staff technologists
  • Maintain equipment, complete required documentation, and ensure cleanliness of work areas
  • Must be adaptable to changing technologies and workflow demands
  • Annual flu vaccination required during flu season; only medical exemptions allowed

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of related CT experience required
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
  • Current ARRT(R) (CT), ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), CNMT registry, or state CT registry required
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
  • License required if applicable
  • No local candidates accepted as travelers; must live more than 60 miles from the facility
