Responsibilities and Duties
- Greet and say goodbye to all customers as they enter / leave the building and sit / get up from their table
- Accommodate any special needs to guests (food allergies, requests, etc.)
- Presents menu, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food.
- Take customer orders by writing them down and entering orders into the POS system
- Serves customers their food and check back on the guest to make sure meal came out correctly
- Observes guests to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed
- Maintain a clean and organized area (condiments, napkins, comment cards, etc.)
- Presents guest check to each table and accept approved form of payment
- Makes correct change or completes the proper charge card procedure
- Thanks patrons and kindly invites them back for future dining.
- Clean tables and floors as needed
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
- Other additional tasks management may need assistance with
Qualifications & Requirements
Math, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.Ability to stand for long periods of times.Carry objects up to 30 pounds.Ability to wipe down tabletops, booths, pick up debris off the floor, sweep floor in all areas of the restaurant.PI3a0a8614b068-30511-38881425
