MRI Technologist – Nights | 3x12s | 13-Week Contract

Shift : Nights (3 : 30 PM – 4 : 00 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts / week | Every 6th weekend (6 : 30 PM – 7 : 00 AM) + weekend call every 12 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Contract Length : 13 weeks (84 days)

Start Date : November 17, 2025

Location : Zanesville, OH 43701

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist performs high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will operate Siemens and GE MRI equipment, ensure patient safety and comfort, and maintain compliance with imaging protocols and facility standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI exams using Siemens and GE systems in accordance with physician orders and imaging protocols.
  • Ensure patient safety and provide clear explanations of procedures.
  • Operate imaging systems and manage data using Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS.
  • Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and report malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure quality imaging results.
  • Participate in weekend rotations and on-call schedule as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required.
  • Certifications : ARRT (MR) and BLS required.
  • Licensure : Ohio Radiologic Technologist license required (if applicable by degree).
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency with Siemens and GE MRI equipment , Epic EMR , and Fuji Synapse PACS.

  • Hours : 36 hours / week guaranteed (facility may cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract).
  • Schedule : Block scheduling; nights; every 6th weekend + call rotation every 12 weeks.
