Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time physical therapist for a salaried outpatient orthopedic position in a locally owned private practice.

Here at Free Body Physical Therapy we are the best in the field, providing consistent and effective patient care. Our mission is to provide outstanding, personalized care with a focus on treating the whole body and truly empowering our patients. We also provide international non profit workshops with the goal of improving Physical Therapy worldwide.

Our therapist needs to be a self-motivated, very organized individual with an advanced degree in physical therapy from an APTA-accredited physical therapy program. Individuals must have a current IL state license in good standing with the State Board of Physical Therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluating each patient that is specific to age, illness, injury, and/or disease.

Timely preparing a written plan of care based on evaluation findings.

Supervising the implementation of each plan of care, and coordinating treatment with support staff.

Tracking established clinic metrics for both therapist and administrative staff.

Being a proactive member of our team bringing proposed solutions to any problems that may arise.

Helping foster a professional environment that is friendly and welcoming to everyone.

Displaying a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure each patient’s satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven working experience as a Physical Therapist

Excellent knowledge of physiology best practices and standards

Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities

Ability to communicate and instruct effectively

Healthcare administration and documentation skills

License to practice or relevant certification

CPR Certification (Preferred)

Licensed Physical Therapy
