What you'll do : As an Automation Engineer, you will manage and design new Automation tooling and equipment. You will also support and improve current manufacturing systems.

Duties / Responsibilities of this position :

• Develop new and support existing robotic automation systems. Projects often involve injection mold press tending, automated component feeding and assembly, laser marking, and vision inspection.
• Identify and implement appropriate new technology, controls and automation to maintain a competitive advantage in the market.
• Manage new projects considering budget / cost targets, delivery timelines and early build events.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal personnel during all phases of new launches.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate appropriate response measures for existing production equipment.
• Responsible for electrical controls, simulation, programming, debug, and start-up assistance.
• Lead process development efforts for single component and 2 component liquid dispense applications. This includes specifying equipment and performing material trials.
• Ability to travel as needed (
• Ability to occasionally support 2nd and 3rd shifts as needed.
