Instructional Facilitator
The primary responsibility of the Instructional Facilitator in the Title I Office is to collaborate with the Title I Coordinator and the rest of the Title I Central Office team, as well as other key stakeholders to effectively develop, coordinate, and implement Title I initiatives. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, supports instructional best practices in Title I schools, and facilitates professional learning opportunities focused on instruction, intervention, family engagement, and the school improvement planning process. Additionally, the facilitator provides technical assistance, monitors program implementation, manages required grant compliance reports and budgets, and remains informed about educational advancements to enhance student academic and behavioral achievement as well as the overall program effectiveness.
Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in education, teaching, curriculum and / or instruction or a related field, and five years of professional certificated experience at the elementary or secondary level. Priority will be given to applicants who hold a current Maryland State Department of Education Professional Certificate or License in an administrator, supervisor of instruction, assistant principal, or principal area. Experience in grant and program compliance and evaluation, and providing professional learning to instructional staff are preferred. This position is grant-funded through 09 / 30 / 27 and is exempt from overtime. Membership in the Maryland State Retirement Agency pension plan is mandatory.
