Description Job Summary : Geographic Solutions, Inc. is seeking a talented and passionate UI / UX Designer to join our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience design, with a focus on creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for website and software applications. As a UI / UX Designer at GSI, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our products and websites, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients and improve overall look and feel of our applications. The successful candidate is a self-starter, highly motivated, attentive to detail, and has experience with working successfully in matrix organizations.

This is a hybrid position. Candidate must come to corporate office in Palm Harbor, Florida 3 times a week.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Insights and validate design decisions for new products and existing product enhancements
• Lead the creation of interaction and visual artifacts (wireframes, user flows, mockups, prototypes) by reviewing business requirements and implementing designs to help the business achieve their goals
• Collaborate and consult to facilitate relationships with Product Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers by understanding business goals, advocating for the user, explaining design processes and artifacts, implementing feedback, and understanding the technical feasibility of design
• Develop and maintain design guidelines and standards to ensure consistency across all products
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in UI / UX design
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Design and enhance website experiences to ensure a cohesive and engaging user journey across all digital platforms
